What to do

Near the villa there is a variety of wonderful beaches to choose from. The amazing beach of Agios Gordios Lefkimmis is only 7-8 km far from the villa. At the same distance you can find the intense scenery of Arkoudilas beach. The amazing sandy beach of Marathias at 11km, the famous beach of Halikounas beach (Korission Lake*) at 25km just to name a phew. 

 

From Lefkimmi Port you can organize daily excursions to the magnificent cosmopolitan small islands of Paxos and Antipaxos.

 

Take a visit to Alykes (5 mins drive), one of the NATURA network locations. This is a stopping spot for the beloved pink flamingo when migrating. These beautiful exotic birds come to this wetland in winter and spring. This flat wetland area has been a salt pan since the 13th and 14th centuries, although the last time salt was produced was in 1988.

 

You can also rent a boat.

 

You will find many water sports activities (1km) such as Jet skis, canoes and pedalos. 

Corfu's coast is perfect for scuba diving. During the summer time the waters are warm and ideal for this sport. 

If you love kite surfing, go to Halikounas beach (25km).

If you love hiking, try Arkoudilas mountain, Korission lagoon*, Nymfes waterfall or Palaiokastritsa.

Corfu Golf Club is set in a stunning location (Ropa Valley). It is a 18 hole golf course and thought to be the most beautiful in Greece. It attracts a big number of golf players from all around the world. It has a beautiful landscape and it is also suited for walking.

 

 

*Korission lake

Korission lagoon is located on the southwestern coast of Corfu. The picturesque Korission lake (the largest of Corfu and the highlight of the island's wetlands), the strip of land that separates the Korission Lake from the sea (Halikounas beach) with the dunes shaped like rocks and the cedar forest area compose a unique landscape of great beauty. The area is protected and belongs to the network NATURA. The beautiful lagoon attracts about 126 bird species.
